Tera. Copy - Free download and software reviews. Pros. Was a better tool few years back. Really came up with a revolutionary copying speed in past days. Data copying was pretty smooth and reliable.
Cons. Didn't change with market competition. Lacks allot of interesting features which is provided by GS Rich. Copy 3. 60 to make task pretty easy. Data crashes occur frequently.
Performance is also downgraded as compared to GS Rich. Copy 3. 60. Summary. I am no more a fan of Tera. Copy from the day I used GS rich.

If for whatever reason it show's a file read error, you can use clean up (which removes the file names of successful copies) then do it again, without having to start over. For me it has always checked good if I had to do it again due to a file read error.
I've been using this since Win XP, now I'm using it on Win 1. Insider Evaluation copies & so far no problem's yet!
Cons. The free version work's like the paid version except for one minor detail. With the paid version you are able to safe location's of where you moving file's to if you use them repeatedly where as free does not. Summary. Would recommend to friend's. Reply to this review. Fast, works as expected, faster than standard Windows Copy. Cons. Dialogue box that opens gives user a choice; maybe that can be over=ridden in settings (that slows the copy process). To recover the lost HDD, I used Undelete 3. I left a review on that, too) to transfer the recovered files to the other portable. Not enough space on the second portable, so I needed a way to make sure that the backup was good. Microsoft Sync. Toy could have done the job, but it doesn't seem to offer any kind of file verification (I'm no expert). Tera. Copy offers CRC checking as part of the file copy process, and it works pretty well.
Tera. Copy, at least the free version, doesn't seem to be 1. Last night, I left it to copy 8. GB of recovered files from one portable HDD to another, with file verification, and woke up this morning to find it completed with zero errors. When I went to transfer the 3. GB back to the second HDD that was originally there, I kept getting errors and crashes. Odd. Still, a great little tool, although I'm not sure if $1.
